Junior year I received all A's both semesters. Senior year, I am almost sure I will get one B first semester in AP German (brutally hard class). My current rank is top 10% unweighted and 3/385 weighted. My biggest concern is trying to get off the UChicago deferral list. Will this hurt my chances a lot for admission (anywhere) with this one B?

I'll save other members the trouble and give the answer you should have expected.

/facepalm

Well I have gotten B's before. My point is would a B after a year of straight A's be seen has downward trend...

Oh, nvm. Thought you were the typical "B = suicide" student. :p

I don't think it would count as downwards enough to really be a detriment to admission. Overall, your w. gpa is still going to be pretty close to junior year and you're still improving from prev years I assume.

One B is fine. As long as you don't get straight Bs compared to As, you're good.

omg 1 b lol? u stressing man its an ap class they take that into consideration if u went from honors german to ap.... and its 1 b... dont stress....
