downward trend senior year? :(

so i'm about halfway through my first term and it's looking like i'm going to get B+s (and one of them might be a B :() in two of my classes. i normally wouldn't be complaining about this especially since they're term grades, but i'm pretty sure colleges are going to be analyzing this term a lot. both these B+'s will be in tough AP classes, and i'm getting As in all my other classes (i'm trying really hard, these classes are just a lot harder than junior year). since junior year i only got 1 B+, do you think that colleges (i'm applying to some that are uber selective) will see this as a downward trend?

I am in the same boat as you, with B+'s in the classes that are considered to be the toughest offered in my school. Hopefully it is not looked upon too heavily, but I am sure it is taken into consideration. Are applying ED somewhere?

No, but I’m applying EA to a few (out of those, the one I’m concerned about is Georgetown, though that’s a reach anyways so it might not even matter).

No, this doesn’t constitute a “downward trend.” It’s fine.
