Downward Trend?

Hi, as the time left in the school year is waning, I realize that my junior year has become more difficult over time. Although I got all A's first semester of junior year, second semester has been much more challenging, and I envision possibility of getting B's in maybe Spanish and APENG or both. Before this year I had close to a 4.0 UW, so would getting a 3.8 or 3.6 UW second semester of Junior year be really bad? I have NOT been slacking off BTW, but the courses themselves have been more difficult this semester. I plan to apply to the UC's, JHU, Notre Dame, Emory, USC and other schools of that caliber.

botta bing botta bump

Dude dats fine

Stuff that CCers say, right here.

For real…is it ok if my UW went down 0.017 points?? Hahah

If I told you my GPA, would it make you feel better?

I thought it would be a big deal if my GPA showed a downward trend the last, and arguably most important semester of high school?

. .

No it would not. Possibly for IVYs it would but otherwise you’re good

I don’t think that the Ivies would look down on one B.

OP, I went from straight A’s to 4 B’s if that makes you feel better
