Downward Trends

Hello, I just finished my junior year and was hoping to gain some insight into my chances of being accepted into Carnegie Mellon University. I also subsided in grades Junior year really blowing my GPA. I plan on taking AP classes at a Community College to bring it up. This is currently my first choice school so far. African and from Maryland (If this matters).
Plan on double Majoring in: Theatre & English

Academics:
U/W: 3.07
W: 3.39 (D Junior year, but plan on bring back Senior Year)
SAT: 1270 (400 M, 450 CR, 500 W)
IB: IB Diploma Candidate: IB Theatre HL, IB English HL, IB TOK, AP Government NSL
Expected Course Load Senior Year: IB Theatre 2, IB English 2, IB Extended Essay, IB Environmental Science or IB Sports and Health Science, IB History 2, and IB Math SL
SAT II’s: Literature

Extracurriculars:
Volunteering at Imagination Stage as Inclusion Facilitator: (11-12) (Will be continuing in my senior year)
Round House Theatre Teen Performance Program: (11)
Children’s Show “Jungle Book”: (10)
Shakespeare Club “Much Ado About Nothing”(10)
School Play “To Kill A Mockingbird” (9)

May be doing an internship in Environment Maryland.

Unfortunately for CMU you have almost no chance with your junior year GPA (which I saw in your other post) and low test scores. As a comparison, you can see CMU’s 25/75%ile scores here:

Also, 400+450+500 = 1350, not 1270.

I hope you applied to a few universities that are not nearly as selective.
