My math is around 740. Should I buy Dr.Chung?

I know it's AMAZING and I know it gave so many people perfect math scores. But for me, I never brought it because of the price and my score. But I don't know if the last 60 points can be learned, or just plain luck?

This post is kind of a vote?

Instead of Dr.Chungs you should get PWN the SAT.
I’ve tried both and PWN the SAT was much more of a help. Chungs was really vague on explanations and was very frustrating.

Or Gary Gruber’s Complete SAT Math Workbook - I got 800 on CB Math practice test.

Although Chung’s explanations were vague, the examples were extremely helpful

I think you should also try barrons. It helped me alot!

if ur at 740 don’t do barrons, it’s super basic, it’s for ppl scoring lower than 650

I wouldn’t get it. Those last few points are likely just three or so questions, so it’s not worth it. Just keep practicing and reviewing.

Not worth it IMO. Unless you always get just the hardest q’s in a test wrong, it isn’t worth it. Most people who get a score that high tend to get a couple doable questions wrong be they read them wrong or approached them the wrong way. Just keep practicing and you will be fine. Chung’s isn’t really gonna do you good…just perfect that section by eliminating mistakes. I have takes 4 practice recently…I got a 790 on two of them and 780 on one them(That is exactly one stupid q wrong per test), on the most recent one I finally got an 800 for the first time. Just keep at it, you will improve, I started at 650 and got to 800, you can do the same with 740. good luck.

Most of Chungs questions are HARD. Just don’t even bother reading the tips… do the practice test only! I had a 58 on PSAT in October, now I am soaring around 740-760s without careless mistakes! If you do all 20 of the practice; you are guaranteed 800, but if you’re careless like me 740-760. I just get nervous under timed conditions, and I have so far taken only 7 tests. Even though the answers are VAGUE. You’ll sometimes think WHERE ARE THESE COMING FROM? Don’t worry because after plenty of practice you’ll understand why he uses those methods. I don’t know how much it will help you since you broke the 700 barrier already, but if you do use the book I am sure you will improve a bit… even if it is by 20 points.

Oh my god, you are making me very nervous.
Are you serious???
I have the Barron’s book, so does that mean that I cannot get above a 650 by just prepping with it?

Just a little bit confused… :(

that’s what i heard but it just depends on what type of questions you are having problems on. i usually get the level 5 questions wrong and grubers doesn’t really cover those type of questions too well whereas dr. chung’s does.
