<p>Dragas gets reappointed, which I personally agree with.</p>
<p>McDonnell does not reappoint Hardie, continuing the fine UVA tradition of whacking any board member who was appointed by a prior Gov of the other party. Ironically, Dragas is the only Dem appointee that has been reapointed by McDonnell.</p>
<p>Good to see a former university president (from JMU) get onto the BOV. The Hopkins hospital executive is now a voting member to fill the newly created health care slot.</p>

<p>As Ava noted elsewhere, Mr. Hardie was term limited.</p>
<p>Actually, Mr. Hardie wasn’t term limited. He had only served 4 years on the BoV. Mr. Fralin and Ms.Key were both term-limited.</p>

<p>These emails say little. By this point, everyone knew that the emails were being requested under the Freedom of Information Act. The coup switched over completely to phones.</p>
