Hi, I need help making a college selection between the two above. I want to study Pharmacy. Both are great schools but I don't know what to pick. Please help me and tell me what they offer. Thanks for your help!

If you want to party go to Iowa.

I’m assuming you are instate. In that case go to Iowa cheap tuition just as much if not more prestige,

Iowa. A no-brainer.

Ask this in the Parents Forum, and change the title to include the words “for Pharmacy”. The will increase your chance of catching the attention of someone who is fully familiar with the two programs.

If you know which part of the industry you want to go into after graduation, contact the two departments, and enquire about their placement rates.

@yoskis I am actually out of state (Illinois)

Not really sure about their pharmacy programs, but all around Iowa seems like a way better school. Depends if you like to party and like school spirit though.

I belive iowa is still cheaper. Have you visited eaither? They have different feels to them. IC is a college town everything is centered around the college. Yes there is a lot of partying but you don’t have to get into that. There isn’t much to do generally. (I live in IC abit as a high school student)
Des Moines is a city by itself that just happens to have drake in it. Less partying but I’m sure that can be found. Bigger city but not anything special.
I would go to Iowa in a heartbeat if I were in your suitation.
But as it stands I’m trying to get out. Iowa City generally thinks its hot **** but in reality is just a college town in the middle of no where.

Wow thank you for help!

Any other recommendations?

If you are out of state, but aren’t set on going somewhere in Iowa - have you checked out Butler? Very good pharmacy program. Indianapolis is really nice, fun. Very pretty campus. Good bball, school spirit.

Yoskis, unless Drake students have changed since I lived near that campus back in the last century, there will be plenty of partying available for students who want it.
