<p>Drawing in general (art) and drawing for multiviews, to me, don’t rely too heavily on one another. More than likely you will have a graphics class (Im taking one right now) You will learn that you are not drawing the object, just a ton of shapes that have a relationship with one another (ie. Parallel, Tangent, coincident…) You will also learn to do this in some sort of CAD hopefully, we are using SolidWorks and it is pretty easy to learn.</p>
<p>The key to technical drawing (and CAD) is visualization. You need to be able to see a 3D object in 2D space and vice-versa. The rest of it is just rules and tricks.</p>
