good chance. i wouldnt say ur definitely going to get accepted. its not that great. dont be suprised if you get accepted or rejected. haha i know that doesnt help much.

ur SAT scores are alittle low. ur science fair thing is good. but its seems like its almost the only thing you've done thats important. i hope u stressed other things in ur application. because if not...then ur screwed.

i dont think you have too good of a chance at harvard or princeton. i dont know about the rest.

i hope you didnt portray yourself as another nerdy asian male who plays pingpong and DDR. thatll kill you. you have to avoid that.

"ur science fair thing is good. but its seems like its almost the only thing you've done thats important. i hope u stressed other things in ur application. because if not...then ur screwed."

I disagree. 3rd Grand Award at ISEF is pretty damn good, and your science fairs show consistency. I think you're in almost everywhere.

I forgot to mention presenting at national JSHS is really good too, since you have to place in the top 2 in your regional JSHS (which is really a state JSHS for most states).

I don't stress any of my "asian-ness" or "nerdy" side because I think the scores and my extracurricular/honors list will show that. Anyway, these are my essays.

My personal statement dealt with the problems I encountered as I moved 3 times in my life during my academic years between countries. It is done in a collage of short stories arranged by grade level. Mom my cried when she read it. lol

My extracurricular essay/blob describe an INSTANT in a boy scout winter camping trip that shows my love for nature.

My roommate essay talks about my love for painting and design. I use crazy metaphors connecting painting/perspective to my life's philosophy.

I think you have a very good chance of acceptance. You do interesting things, your essays sound unique, your teachers love you, and a lot of your ECs are consistent. Good luck!

i never said being consistent is bad btw. i dont know where you got that from.
all i was saying is that you should show ur different aspects.
and it seems like alohasam89 understands that b/c his essays sound great.
you have a good chance. good luck.
