Dream Career

I wanted to be a vet for a long time, then I realized that while I love animals, I really don’t want to euthanize one and I wouldn’t want to perform surgery.

Now I’m thinking physical therapy?

Doctor: most versatile job on the planet, will never become extinct, most respected, highest paid

ArtsyGirl13: Please be a pediatric neurologist! They are the best people on the planet and the world needs more of them.
Taking a leaf out of pixels’s book:
Money is no object: writer/editor at a magazine like TIME or literary editor
Money IS an object, but even if it weren’t I’d do it anyway: research psychologist, child psychologist.
Money is an object, but if it weren’t I d do it anyway, especially since I’d get a free pass through med school: psychiatrist, with a focus on children
But MEDICAL SCHOOL!!! I don’t WANT to dissect cadavers! Or give myself shots! Or give innocent bystanders shots!

Oh, yeah, psychiatrist only if no med school. Or if I learn to steel myself up at the sight of blood.

Right now law is probably the career I’m most likely going to go into. I just really want a career as a professional, something that distinguishes me

Great teacher once said"
To be happy in working life you need:

  1. Be working on something you love
  2. Make a lot of money (at least financially secure)
  3. Live in a great location.
Pick any two and you’ll be happy. All three and you’ve really got it made.

Since I was a kid being a doctor was always my only imaginable career path, but lately I’ve really been interested in biomedical engineering, specifically in the field of regenerative medicine. So something in the medical field, either as and MD doctor or PhD doctor

Easily a musician

Mayor of Mars Colony

CEO of Bain Capital

Economic Analyst/Diplomat

I’d love to be a news anchor. Not one of those anchors in small, local markets either. I’m thinking bigger, a national news anchor like Brian Williams, Diane Sawyer, etc. If journalism doesn’t work out, I’d be interested in luxury real estate or law.

@Rolando What about Wolf Blizer or Bill O Reily?

I would love to be a senator. Or have a big roll in a firm that deals with Urban Development projects.

If nothing really mattered I would climb tallest mountains, hike the longest trails, dive really deep, sail the world, eat every different food possible…

Realistically, probably either NIST researcher, engineer at boeing/LM/raytheon/NASA-CT JPL, Physicist at CERN/Princeton/Fermi lab, AFSOC Pararescue Jumper

Top UG —> IB —> PE/HF/VC —> Greatness (Politics)

I want to be a wildlife conservationist or zoologist.

Veterinarian.

@Josiah, that’s not really what I had in mind, but I’ll take it! They’re both doing very well in journalism, which isn’t the easiest thing to do. It’s a competitive job and unfortunately we can’t all anchor World News or Today :/.

Weird. So many of you guys trying to steal my dream career !
I’m the only one on CC that can be a psychiatrist. >:/

lol kidding but really its to be a child/adolescent psychiatrist; if the whole medical school thing doesn’t work out then I’ll attempt my phd in Counseling Psychology.

Money runs all man’s evil soul.
