Dream School

What's your dream school? My "realistic" dream school is SUNY Stony Brook. It's definitely a reach, but if I really step it up for the rest of high school (I'm a 10th grader), I might have a chance of getting accepted there. My "unrealistic" dream school is SciencesPo! I love everything about that school and it would be an amazing experience to go there!!!

I have several favorites, so I’ll just list all of them: University of Southern California, University of Miami, Georgetown, Brown, University of Illinois- UC, and Emory U.

^ He said Realistic, so take Brown, and the like off the list. Ivy’s are reaches for everyone. Unless you mean unrealistic dream schools since they’re reaches for virtually anyone unless your Einstein.

My realistic dream school is

Carnegie Mellon University (35% acceptance rate)

NYU (37% acceptance rate)

U of Chicago (Around 40% acceptance rate)

Unrealistic:
Ivy Leagues
Northwestern
Colgate University
Vanderbilt
Stanford
MIT

Realistic Dreams for me personally: UC Irvine, UC Davis, UC Santa Barbara
Colleges I will at least be accepted to if I don’t reach my dreams: UC merced, UC riverside, UC santa cruz
Unrealistic Dreams: Ivy League and UCB and UCLA.

My realistic dream school is Tulane University (26% acceptance rate).

Realistic: UVA
Unrealistic: HYPSM

Dream: Stanford

There is no such thing as a realistic dream. Dreams are not reality.

I <3 Columbia!!!

When used as an adjective, it means most desirable or ideal.

Brown. BrownBrownBrownBrownBrown.

If your dream is realistic, you might not be dreaming big enough.

Stanford, Brown, Columbia, Georgetown, UC Berkley, Dartmouth, Cornell, Princeton, Bowdoin! Love all those schools! However, if I got into all of them, I would chose Stanford!

Dream schools should not always be realistic.

Northwestern University
Stanford University
University of Michigan
University of Wisconsin-Madison
Cornell University
MIT

University of Texas.
If life were perfect, UPenn.

Harvard University

^ me 2
… 10 char

Used to be Penn, then I realized how out of place I would feel even if it was realistic.

I don’t have a dream college, and I guess it’s okay. Bigger dreams mean bigger shatter I suppose.

I haven’t romanticized my first choice to the point of calling it a “dream” – I can very easily picture myself attending it. I’d be super happy about it, don’t get me wrong, but I see the path of attending it as one of a few very real paths I’ll be able to contemplate more in a few… months? Damn, it better not be a dream. I think the window for the dream phase has expired for me, regardless.

Realistic: Loyola Marymount
Unrealistic, but slightly realistic: University of Southern California

The bigger your dreams, the bigger the shards will be when it shatters.

it doesn’t necessarily shatter
