If you had the option of going to any school anywhere in the U.S., which one would it be and why? I would say either Columbia or Stanford.

… because they are so alike. Sounds more like a thread for High school life forum or

I’d go to the Air Force Academy… but in that idealistic world, be able to choose my military service area afterward.

Stanford, MIT, or Harvey Mudd. They’re all very different schools, but I’ve fallen in love with all of them (probably MIT the most at this point, however).

Fordham University in New York City or University of Southern California

UChicago, Reed, Brown, Carleton, or Swarthmore.

Definitely UMass Amherst

UMiami

MIT

Don’t fall in love w ANY school until AFTER u have been admitted.

Brown

MIT

Harvard, Stanford, or MIT (in that order)

I really liked Reed during my college search. There are twenty million logistical reasons I would never have actually gone there—it’s far away, it’s unaffordable, they don’t have graduate classes, they wouldn’t transfer my dual-enrollment credit—but it’s a “dream school” to me in the sense that I like their philosophy and the whole idea of going there.

MIT.
Harvard Yale dartmuth or brown love them all sosososososoos much
I’m going to go off what @GMTplus7 said. It’s alright to have a top choice school, but don’t make it your dream school and obsess over it, especially if it’s a reach school or unaffordable! Keep your options open and don’t see yourself only going to this one school!
UCLA has always been my dream school! I applied for fall 2015 so fingers crossed
@queenk good luck!
UMiami or UCLA because of the opportunities and environment
