Alright so I've just recieved my SAT 2 scores.

My top choice college " recommends " taking Math 2 , and 2 sciences (( I chose Chemistry and Physics ))

I got :

Math 2 : 730 (( was expecting an 800 , I thought I've done great , I don't know what happened , don't think I'll retake since I have no time ))

Chemistry : 640 (( was expecting +700 , again don't know what happened :( ))

Physics : 490 (( I know , This is awful , But I haven't prepared at all and Physics is not my best , And Iam NOT retaking ))

Question #1 : i've already ordered sending scores to my top choice , so they WILL recieve my Physics score . Is this going to affect me although SAT 2 is optional ??

Q #2 : If I didn't mention in my online application that I took Physics , Will they just ignore the score when they recieve it ??

Q #3 : Can I cancel sending Physics score now ??

Q #4 : Can I order score verification for SAT 2 ?? If not then Should I retake Chemistry ??

Thank you very much for taking time to help (:

1: If you took all of those on the same day, then yes your college will receive all three even if you only want to send one.
2: Probably not considering they will see the score.
3: If you cancel one, you cancel all (considering you took all 3 on the same test day)
4: I don’t think so, but I may be wrong.

I didn’t do much better either, I got a 720 on Math II and 660 in USH (which I thought was good considering that I only studied for 2 weeks, and haven’t taken USH)

You are saying they need 2 sciences, if they don’t look at Physics then you will not be fulfilling their requirements all together. Is getting your application canceled better than having them look at all the scores?

I would think score verification is definitely possible. I didn’t get the scores I was expecting either, but I’m not going to go for score verification because I know that I would’ve make some careless mistakes in the exam, and I did leave a few questions on each paper too, so it all adds up.

I’m sorry to hear that this happened to you as well, my Physics score is the same as your math 2 score, and my math 2 score is the same as your chemistry score +10. And here I was dreaming of two 750+ scores.

The SAT 2 are optional , they are not required . They say that SAT 2 make your chances better but you can still get accepted without taking any SAT2 .

I wouldn’t worry too much. If the school “recommends” it, remember it often will not hurt you if you don’t send them. So you could cancel them, but I’m not sure if the school already has them or not…Good luck!
