Dress for Interview?

I have my interview next Tuesday at 7pm-ish @ one of the local prep schools and was wondering how formal or casual it should be

I asked my interviewer, and he told me to dress for a job interview. That means a suit. So I guess I'm wearing a suit to Panera Bread.

i think it depends where your going. Since ur going to a prep school id probably wear a suit.
But mine was at a barnes and noble so i just wore a collared shirt and some khakis, which is what id suggest for the panera bread guy.

Same. Mine was at my house, so I just wore a nice shirt and dress pants.

hm well from what i've heard from kids that have my interviewer as a teacher, I guess she's pretty laid back...the interview is at like 7 pm Tuesday night and after emailing a few times, she seems really relaxed...

I went in sweat pants and a sweat shirt and got a 9 out of 9, so, who knows. I had a football game right after, and my guy knew, so I guess the safest bet is business casual...

My friend wore a suit and tie, and his interviewer told him to take the jacket and tie off once he got there.

I wore khakis and a nice shirt but my interviewer was in sweats...

Judging from what my counselor said and her emails/calls, I was thinking like dark express jeans, small heels, and a black s/s tutleneck top...?

I wore a polo and nice shorts, and my interviewer didn't seem to care one way or another.

I had my interview for the Robertson during my school's spirit week, and so i was dressed in all red and crazy clothes, but I just told the lady and she thought it was great.

I think a suit is too much, personally...
