Love that dress @mom60! I am a sucker for embroidery, too. Used to hand-embroider my boring, cheap denim back when I was in college! 
I also love prints and bright colors- especially cameo and animal prints. Iâve had to learn how to tone it down just a bit due to my professional position (we are on the casual side of business casual, but my CEO is pretty conservative). I got a comment once of something being âreally brightâ, so I try to not announce my arrival too much by my attire. I donât wear much black (well, pants and blazers) because I wind up covered with pet hair.
@MomofWildChild I wear mostly black. And have black dogs. 
I have 3 cats, and no matter what I wear, there is always one cat whose hair clashes with my outfit! There is a reason I love my leather pants⊠
To me these are kimonos: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kimono Iâd call what you have a sheer buttonless jacket, but I can see from google that the fashion industry seems to be calling anything without buttons that you wear over something a else a kimono. They are a little more like a yukata which is generally much lighter and simpler, and worn with a simple tie or sash rather than an obi.
@abasket, I used to have that problem in Hong Kong - all the sites started showing me prices in Hong Kong dollars!

Ok, so I bit the bullet and ordered a pair of black flat rothys. I have a narrow foot and very narrow heel so I can never wear flats without a strap. I am also willing to spend money on shoes that fit because so many donât.
@dentmom4 - please report back on how the Rothys fit your narrow foot! I am eager to hear!

Yes, I am hoping they work out as well for you as they did for me, @dentmom4. If they do, the price per wear will be much lower than some of those cheaper shoes in your wardrobe

Have you seen the new Rothyâs boot? Iâd be curious to try a pair on. They are quirky looking but with the right jean they could be fun. I expected the price to be higher than the flat. Not so!

I ordered the White House Black Market leopard jeans. Along with the moto jacket in the same print. Donât worry - I wonât wear them together - that would be TOO much! One of the things I love about WHBM is how their clothes are good for mixing and matching, especially since so much can be used with black or denim. I do wear a lot of black, so itâs a good store for me.
Those Rothy âbootsâ look kind of clunky/heavy to me? I can hear my momâs voice in my head saying âclodhoppers.â With the right jeans, I think they could be super cute, though. Not sure I would get much wear out of them. I like my boots with heels.
OK @MomofWildChild report back on those! Iâm partial to the Artic which could be fun with a cropped jean or jean skirt, casual dress, etc. The Fog Melange is cute too! I could get away with them at work on Fridayâs or a day when I donât have out of office meetings.
I was on the fence between the animal print (really more of splotchy print) and the maroon-ish ones. Iâm thinking jeans or leggings.
