Surfcity, I just bought those in navy and love them. They look great and seem like they’ll wash well. I was surprised to see them on this site.
Some of the older Santorini models have a v-neck - I have one!
I had to interview (via video conference) an external candidate for an executive position. I’m sitting here in a company logo polo and denim cutoff shorts… New world.
I have done my clothes shopping online for years, before the pandemic.
I also have memorized my CC number, but I recently got a new one because they wanted to update the card with some tech thing and so now I don’t have it memorized.
Shopping is weird right now as I have no place to wear these clothes but at home.
I like researching for OTHERS though!
I love a lot of those links. Luckily for me I don’t have my CC memorized and I keep my wallet downstairs.
I am ordering less. I just bought a new pair of Allbirds in my favorite burgandy color. They come tomorrow. I’m contemplating ordering a linen dress from Garnet Hill and also some pants from Athleta. Like @soozievt I really have no place to wear many of the clothes I’m liking online.
Highlight I’m going to wear a top I bought when Covid 19 was just a virus in China. I haven’t gone anywhere to wear it but I’m going to see my sister and have lunch in her yard so I decided I’m going to wear it.
Oooh @soozievt thank you! I love those Garnet Hill dresses but sadly they do not make them in Tall. Those would be above mid-thigh on me. Luckily some of those pants you posted do come in Tall sizes! I particularly love the Sundance ones, but everything from Sundance is gorgeous.
I like the dress @BunsenBurner posted and no length problems there. And I have an old Athleta dress like the Santorini that I love so I will check those out.
My default was pants but a dress with a little cardigan when the A/C is high will work nicely too.
@EmilySpinach - which pants are you referring to?
My D picked up some linen like drawstring pants at Costco last week. They were very inexpensive. Worth a look if you are in Costco.
I can’t stand leggings or bike shorts once it gets to be remotely warm. I wore a loose linen dress yesterday and that felt pretty good and cool. I like suzievt’s Boden dress. Some of the garnet hill dresses are very cute as well. Unfortunately I think I look better in short dresses but I hate the skin on my legs in the summer. Never tan well, blotchy, full of veins, ick. Perfectly good looking legs, really, if it’s too dark to notice the skin!
^^. Costco clothes are always too big for me. With their sizing I would need xxs but their smaller is s.
For that same reason, @BunsenBurner dresses look quite long, they would most certainly 1 foot extra dragging on the floor for me. But they do look good on a tall woman!
This is a cute casual maxi dress:

I like that one - but no small sizes
I am picky about the style of maxi dresses. There needs to be enough shape/interest so that it doesn’t look like a nightgown. I like the Tommy Bahama ones with the twist in front. I do prefer sleeveless maxis.
@Hoggirl Ha, well, I am large so that was not of issue for me! I was suggesting it as a casual one you can wear at home. I have some a step up from that which I would not wear just to hang out at home . But I agree to be wary of ones that may look like a nightgown. Most of mine have some sort of seam like a waist or empire, which can help, plus certain fabrics don’t look so nightgown-ish.
I got more caught up in an earlier post asking about casual clothes perhaps at home, instead of leggings or yoga pants in summer, and so I kept to quite casual.
However, here is a maxi dress that is a step up that I would not hang around the house in, and it is on the inexpensive side and not nightgown-ish:
I just came across one of the ugliest dresses ever! It belongs to the old thread about when ugly meets expensive!! It utterly looks like a costume for a play! LOL
Oh, gosh! I love that! I never think to look at Soma for clothing! They had SEVERAL cute dresses - could be quite dangerous!
^ same, I LOVE that one too, and it has xs !! A bit dressy but it’s good for a summer bbq outdoor. @soozievt you got a talent!
Agreed with the ugliest dress too lol.
I never save my
Please, please post it here!!! It is a gem. ?

@Hoggirl I never look at Soma either! I was just hunting around for an example for this thread and it came up in a search!
@BunsenBurner…OK, I’ll post the ugly expensive dress there. I didn’t hunt for the thread as it was from a while back.
I love clothes that don’t wrinkle. Rayón wrinkles way too much for me, though it is lovely and drapes nicely.
@BunsenBurner I just realized with that ugly dress originally for $3000, the model is wearing it over what looks like a cheap men’s undershirt!
Oh, and added to the fact it is quite ugly, the model doesn’t fill out the defined bust design at all, which looks silly.
