I have some shoes sitting in my Zappos cart, some odds and ends in my Marshals cart and this morning a new temptation has me almost ready to click ‘confirm order’.
Although I really don’t need another summer dress…this is really intriguing.

@Nhatrang - it’s annoying that Garnet Hill doesn’t do free shipping. I have the same issue with Anthropologie.
Both of the shoe links are nice. I like a knit sneaker and love my Allbirds but they don’t last me long. I have the problem of getting a hole in the toe!
@abasket. I don’t like it with the gathering, but that can be undone. I find it interesting because it can be worn front to back, back to front and if you turn the pockets inside out they can be used as ties. The gathering is done by pulls.
Then I wonder if it’s just trying to do too much. I have a number of their items and they are high quality and last. I specially like their two piece swim tops. Those things stay ON.

Since the pandemic, anthropology has had free shipping over $50 and free returns. I’ve taken advantage of that lol! Especially since nothing seems to be under $50 ever!
Although I ordered the cutest shirt, when I received it, the fabric was weird and rayon, so I returned it. No hand washing with summer shirts!
Also the return was probably the shortest turnaround I’ve had. The money was back in my bank account within a week. Super easy.
Lots of good sales also.
The worst has been Talbots. I ordered some some things Memorial Day weekend and they still haven’t arrived.
The worst was that they sent out a shipping notice and fedex didn’t pick up the package for a week. And charged my credit card when they said they were shipping.
They are gifts for my mother in law, thank goodness I’ve ordered them almost a month ahead.
So since they charged my CC and said they would be shipping, it’s been almost 2 weeks. I’ve ordered a few things. Talbots is by far the slowest. And they didn’t offer free returns.

@dietz199 - I love Title Nine and have several of their dresses. That one is intriguing. However, their shipping has ALWAYS been slow, and it’s much worse now. I ordered a dress on May 22nd. Tracking says it was shipped on May 25th. My tracking says: “Your item departed a shipping partner facility at 9:59 am on May 29, 2020.” That facility is 2.5 hours from my house. Nothing is happening. I guess I need to call them. That dress is intriguing. I wish it were truly just black and white. Not sure why they through in those other little bits of color. I would tie that in the front and probably love it, though.
Reyn’s has a very loyal following. My mom gave H pretty much all the Reyn’s shirts he owns. He prefers the older ones that are 100% cotton and don’t wrinkle.
I have never bought from Zulily but my D does. She only buys things that she already owns and knows what size fits. If I have the right site I think they ship when the sale is over but I might be confusing it with another site she orders from.
I really like that Title 9 dress, but I hat the fact that I could wind up spending close to $20 bucks for nothing if I decide I don’t like it. I’ve never ordered anything from them.
I typically only order things from places I can return to a brick and mortar store. I have returned some things via mail since COVID, but I also have a pile waiting to return to Nordstrom, Athleta, Fossil and REI.
@1214mom , I won’t order from TItle Nine anymore because of just that. I did several years ago and it cost me $17 for nothing. I wish they’d open one in my city.

I like the title9 dress. Also I like the Garnet Hill dress–I had looked at that one before but decided against it because I have a linen shift dress. I don’t think it is the most flattering shape on me but it is not terrible and it is certainly easy to wear for casual days. I like some of the longer Garnet Hill dresses but I finally decided I have enough dresses for summer from previous years. I think I have waited for Garnet Hill to have a special that includes shipping–that seems like a lot to charge!
That is a cute dress and a great price @colorado_mom ! I think S would be ok for you (reviews seem to confirm this). It is flared on the bottom, so more forgiving in that area.
@colorado_mom I have several Horny Toad items and I think the small would be fine. I’m 3 1/2 in these taller and 15 lbs heavier and my favorite travel dress by them is a medium. My dress is a straighter cut and I’m small chested but I could see that my dress might be tight on top for a larger chested woman. My skort by Horny toad is a small. I’m pretty narrow in my hips. I like their products, they are well made.I’ve bought from Horny Toads website, Zappos and I think REI.
If I had a store near me I’d be trying some of those Title Nine dresses. I like several of them.
