The sandals @BunsenBurner linked are completely sold out now! I think they are great looking and maybe they would even be comfortable with the block heel. I myself am not really wearing heels these days but I am doing lots of ankle strengthening and balance exercises and maybe I will get more confident about heels again next year. Last summer, I did wear heels a couple of times for events and it really did feel glamorous.

I’m still feeling a little bit envious of the garnet hill dresses. I would love to order a new dress but I have dresses from last summer that I should wear. (If I ever go anywhere!)
I love white linen but it is a pain if it’s too see-through. @alh I’m interested in your strategy of silk/cotton/linen mixing for slips and dresses. Where do you get your silk slips?

@Nhatrang - I had one more thought on your backpack. Are you familiar with Fjallraven? Many sizes and color and materials. These backpacks are very popular here in the northeast.

I ordered size 2. That is apparently equivalent of US 6 (IT 42). In the past, that was my size for this brand. Fingers crossed!
I’m still going back and forth on returning the white linen dress. I hate returns and return shipping is not free. I’m noticing a few more colors coming back in stock so might exchange for a different color. Exchange shipping is free.
I like the look of the Spanx shorts so might order those. Love the denim dress. I would wear that dress but I wouldn’t wear the fancy sandals. I like them but can’t see myself wearing them. Same with the floral jumpsuit. My closet is pretty boring compared to most of you.
What is most frustrating is that we are experiencing some serious June gloom and I’ve resorted to wearing jeans. I need the sun to come out!

Worse than that: I have resorted to wearing jeans from the bag of things to give away! I know it’s best to donate bags immediately but it’s been hard because many of the charity shops are closed. So now I am wearing the comfortable jeans that everyone in my family thinks are too loose and unflattering on me.
Awww I adore you for recommending these backpacks! I have 2 teenagers in the house who bought their first Fjallraven from Iceland. They are on their seconds now. But I don’t think they want a mommy matching backpack, though ?

D1 and D2 came home to visit for the weekend. D2 brought a bag full of clothes and shoes to see online. D1 and I went through the bag to scout out any items we might want. I found a dress I love - I loved it when she bought it - mustard yellow with short sleeves, slight scoop neck, gauzy lined fabric, white embroidery on the bodice - so comfy! BUT there is a cut out on the back - it’s not overly large but with a regular bra the hooked bra back strap can be seen.
Any thoughts on a type/style of bra that would have very low back hook strap???
