OK- the Chinese Meridress dresses are here. The shipping/logistics label is spectacular. There are several companies mentioned- none of them being Meridress. There is a CA return address but when my package entered the country (supposedly) in was in NJ. Then somehow it showed up in Atlanta where it sat for well over a week. I could have driven down and gotten it. And now- here it is. DO NOT ORDER FROM MERIDRESS.
However, the dresses are cute although not well made. No manufacturer information at all on the dresses- just a size tag. I’m sure they will be a one season item. One is a camo t-shirt dress and is pretty short, but will be fine. The other is frillier with some neck ruffles and looks good with a thin black belt. $68 total for both, so I can’t complain too much.

I think for summer the camo dress will be fine for me without leggings- especially working at home. It might be too short for the office, but it’s pretty casual anyway.

I think I need a dress for my daughter’s wedding in November, but I don’t know where it is going to be or what kind of event. Due to COVID, original plans for funky wedding in New Orleans have canceled.
I certainly plan on outliving the pandemic, lol, based on my shopping patterns. ?

@BunsenBurner There will be beach outings someday for me as well, I am sure. I bought a new swimsuit in the beginning of the summer but now have cancelled my August plans–just not feeling safe enough making the cross country trip with an immunocompromised spouse. I’ll just assume the swimsuit will fit fine next time we can travel.
So far, I have only worn about half the things I bought this spring and summer. I had planned on a trip to Europe as well, so I had tried to replace some of the shabby old stuff with upgrades. I really like the silk sleeveless tops I got on super-sale from Eileen Fisher and I’m sure they will be practical…but I still haven’t worn them. Some day!

I have to admit to buying nearly nothing clothing wise since quarantine. I am back to work in the office as of July 6 - so all my summer work clothing is fresh and new to me since it just sat in my closet since last year!
The only thing that has been getting more use and wear is exercise clothing!
My Lulu order of the dress and basic Aligns finally shipped! Yay. And the tracking says they will be here today. Say wa…? I bet the stuff is coming from the mall about 15 min away from us, so I should have asked pickup, but I am too dang busy to drive there and back. I’d rather waste my spare time on checking CC and Nordstrom’s designer S&S clearance.

Thanks @conmama. That was fast! I guess there were many takers for it at 70% off! I also used some Nordstrom notes making the price even more reasonable. Fingers crossed it fits.

The Lulu dress is here! It is awesome. Form-fitting but so soft and not restrictive at all. I sized up bases on the reviews so went with size 8 but 6 would have been just fine. I am size 4-8 in Lulu depending on the item. The only bad thing… white cat hair shows on it all too well. I am mulling ordering the dress in black, too.
I was going to mention the pet hair issue… It is a gorgeous color, though. I am 4 to 6 and got the 6.
