Apparently Drew University offers applicants an alternative to sending their SAT scores. Instead Drew applicants may send a graded paper that they had used in a past class to convey their abilities on behalf of SAT scores. My question is then, if we choose this option do we opt out of submitting our SAT scores or would we be able to send both?
Thanks in advance :)

I believe I submitted both. I’m also sure that only doing one or the other doesn’t put you at a disadvantage.

How do you submit both? On the supplement it gives you only one of two choices, either the SAT or the graded paper.
Could I maybe select the graded paper option and then send my SAT scores anyway?

If you submit a graded paper, you do not have to submit your SAT or ACT scores. Regardless of which option you choose, you’ll get the same admission and scholarship consideration. Some special programs, like the 7-Year Dual Degree BA/MD program with UMDNJ-NJMS requires scores.

Your best source of info is always Drew’s website. Here’s a link about SAT/ACT Optional:

Thanks. Does submitting both help in any way? Or should I stick to one or the other?
