Drexel and Lehigh for Mechanical Engineering?

I was just wondering how the two schools were in the field of Mechanical Engineering.

Both are around the 40th to 50th ranking range…which is STILL GOOD. I know while working in the Philadelphia/Delaware area some years ago, Drexel always had a lot of interns (and later on new permanent hires) throughout the Philly area employers…with a good rep.

The supply-demand of you specialty will have more influence than your schools.

Still, you cannot go wrong with either Lehigh or Drexel.

anyone else ?

Don’t know much about the ME program at either school but I think you would get a better education in general at Lehigh U. Smaller classes, no trimester system, and better undergrad research opportunities.

I would also choose Lehigh over Drexel. Drexel does, however, have a great co-op program, which the majority of the students participate in.
