Drexel as a Safety?

Current H.S. junior here. I’m considering Drexel as one of my safeties, but could someone say if based on my stats this is realistic or not?

White, female from Northeast
GPA: 3.85 UW
SAT: 1430 (690 English & Writing, 740 Math)
ACT: 33 (35E, 35W, 34M, 29S)

Course Load (Honors & APs- past & present)
Honors Bio
Algebra 2 Honors
Pre Calc Honors
AP World
APUSH
AP Lang
AP Physics
Spanish 4 Honors
Planning on taking an additional 6-7 APs senior year

ECs:
-Varisty Cheerleading (~10hrs/week, 20 weeks/year; 4 years - will be captain)

  • Dance (4-5hrs/week, 35 weeks/year; 14 years, but can only mention 4 on common app)
  • Teacher’s Assistant at Religious school (2hrs/week, 30 weeks/yr; 4 years)
  • Thinking about beginning to volunteer at a hospital soon

I think that’s all the info I can think of right now. So opinions?

A safety has to be affordable. Run the costs

Drexel is very expensive, even after a lot of institutional aid. Is money a factor? You don’t mention what your major is. Is it nursing? Are you instate PA?

I think you might get good merit at Temple, Duquesne and you should also get into Pitt. If you are instate, those should be more affordable.

Yes, I would consider this a safety for you. (not in financial sense).
