@muu2000 I already got a Drexel grant and AJ scholarship. But I think the others will come out later as some people are still applying to them due to the deadlines that are still far ahead
And also to future Drexel applicants. Refresh your portal a lot :D. We did it like 10 times per second when someone said he got a decision
@muu2000 There is an official Facebook group. Check the letters they sent to us today, follow the link to this accepted students website, scroll down and you will find the link to our group
Haha refresh until they accept you!
Anyways @munit123 did you join the group?
@muu2000 Not yet. Been trying to keep up with a series online :))

My son got accepted special visual arts / animation with computer science minor. Money given by Drexel $43000. He has not applied for the Honors College yet, but will. So hopefully some more money will come his way to make this doable.
@muu2000 haha exactly
@robmarync congrats! and good luck to your son!
@robmarync I’m not sure if getting accepted in honors program has any relation with Financial Aid
any ideas (tips) or success negotiating scholarship with Drexel…
I was reading about honors program i do not think there is any added advantages regarding financial aid but gives a better education experience
D is a sophomore & in honors program. She doesn’t get any additional honors aid. Policy may be different now though. Drexel does not budge on award packages, in our experience anyway.
@mommabear67 My D was awarded scholarships first year - in your experience, do they offer similar $$ in year 2? Also, how does your D like the Honors program?
@Fishnlines29 her scholarships & grant aid pretty much stayed the same. D doesn’t talk much about honors program, I’ll ask her & let you know. She does have an honors section next term for a comedy literature course though. Also, living in millennium was good for her as far as living with other academically focused students (but the rooms were tiny). She was on a quiet floor. But there were some more rowdy & messy floors too
@mommabear67 Great thanks, that would be great if they stayed the same!
