Congratulations everyone!!!
Got waitlisted;(
Did anybody who applied via Common App get anything, yet? I keep seeing everybody getting their decisions and I’m a little worried
@darkcompgeek I applied through Common App and I got my acceptance.
We applied through common app.
@Graysun99 @collegeselect okay, then did you two get emails from Drexel with a username/password for the Drexel portal thing where you can check application status? because I never got that even though I applied, so I really confused haha
Yes. You should call and ask about it. It might have gone to spam. Today, I did not get the email and just checked the portal that has the admission decision.
My son didn’t get the email either, but saw his acceptance when he logged into the portal.
ok, I managed to reset my password on the login screen, and I got accepted!!! But I only thought of doing this AFTER I emailed Drexel Admissions about my issue, so I wonder how they’re going to respond lol
did not apply for financial aid so no award based on need however earlier today the portal showed a scholarship award but can’t find it now. anyone else experience this?
I didn’t get an email but I logged into my portal and was accepted! Im an international student and I got $24,800 in scholarships and grants (AJ Drexel, civic engagement scholarship and a Drexel grant) but that’s not enough by any means for me to afford this school. I got into the honors college too but I won’t be attending though. It’s way too expensive and I’ve gotten into a couple places I like better already so oh well. Congratulations to everyone who got in!!!
Hi everyone:
I have been lurking this for a few weeks. My son got his Drexel acceptance today with a 32k on grants and scholarships. Still short aprox 32 k. He’s happy to get in, but I think we have to have the reality check talk. He got into other schools with more generous packages, but he really wanted Drexel
Hey guys!
I also did not get an email and I’ve been waiting all week for one. It wasn’t until I stumbled upon this thread that I found out that the decisions were released. I have been accepted for a comp sci major in the college of computing and informatics! I’ve also been accepted to the honors college and received $52k in scholarships + grants for the first year! Hopefully I can get other scholarships through other organizations and websites because they are giving me a $8500 loan for the first year
I just wanted to confirm that Drexel costs:
Tuition and fees 52,198
Boarding 13,890
Other expenses 2,900
TOTAL: $68,988
Is this correct? Any scholarships or grants will be be applied to this amount.
Thank you!
@areyouhuman is 52k annually?
Which email did you email to?
@areyouahuman Congratulations on your acceptance! Would you mind sharing your scholarship amount vs grant amount and your stats (GPA/SAT or ACT/Class Rank)? I am just curious on how the stats are relating the merit grant awards? No problem if you are not comfortable sharing.
@MOMofFJ We are in the same situation. Daughter was accepted, but the award amount is disappointing and really need to consider other colleges and packages.
