Drexel/Drexel BSMD or Berkeley

I'm torn whether to go to Drexel for 7 years of my life (med program) or Berkeley (MCB). I like the security of the drexel/drexel program but then again not sure how happy i am with the undergraduate programs and city life (im from california suburbs). I know berkeley is super competitive and it'll be hard to get into med school later but it has the right feel to it, and id be a lot more comfortable there. Where should i go go??

Just for the heck of it, here are my stats
3.8uw 4.25w
35act
800 IIC
780 chem
760 bio

Go to Berkeley.Philadelphia is much different than the California suburbs. With those SATs you will do well in college, and get into Medical school. You may change your mind in college about going to medical school (because in this current environment I would not encourage anyone to go to med. school) and Berkeley would be a better place to major in other fields

Go to Berkeley. Going to Drexel you will forever be in the shadow of that other school in Philly which with those stats you should have applied in the first place (that is if you really want to go to Philly).

Yeah, Berkeley is too good of a school not to go to. I agree with OldPerson about changing majors. At my school 40% of the incoming freshman go in as Pre-Med, less than 5% will graduate Pre-Med. You are 17-18 years old and things do change. I wouldn't even consider Drexel.
