Hi all,

I've been reading a few posts here and found the members advice to be helpful, so I was hoping i could hear some diff. opinions about my whether I should continue with BS/MS.

Should I graduate with a BS and about 3.6 GPA or BS/MS with no research experience and a low 3's GPA?

I'm a EE major, have 2 more years in college now and came to a cross road in life. I'm currently in the BSMS program, which will let me finish my BS and get a MS all in five years. I'm going to take about 14-15 credits each term, 9 of them will be grad and the rest undergrad. (normal grad students take 9 credits of grad classes, plus research) I'm about half way through my first term with 3 undergrad classes and 2 grad classes, and I find it very difficult. I'm probably going to get Cs in grad classes (the minimum needed to pass) and B's if I push myself constantly for the next year and a quarter. I predict my GPA to be in the low 3's, with alot of hard work. I also am considering an MBA eventually, so im afraid the low GPA will hurt my admission.

so to sum it up, from my limited point of view of having been halfway through two of the harder required grad classes
pro
-MS degree at no cost

-higher starting salary

con
-low 3's GPA (cum.) after graduation
-feeling inadequate in grad classes due to not having enough time to completely understand material
-working my butt off just to pass the grad classes

thanks...
