Has anyone who interview at Drexel Med got their results? Please do name the college you applied through to Drexel Med

bump !!!

Waitlist Muhlenberg
Accepted Drexel

^when did you get your decision?

I’m getting worried. Did anyone else get the email for Drexel? The one that siad “Due to the volume of highly qualified applicants, it is taking longer time for decisions to be made on some application…” ???

Anyone know how many ppl are getting accepted?

same.^

It’s funny how I nearly didn’t even apply to this program, thinking that i’d get into atleast one other one from my list. Only to end up getting into none…and hopeing for this one. I thought my cred’s were above par…and my interview was strong, but i assumed, and to future applicants- Don’t do that. This college admissions game is insane, idc where i go anymore ( atlittle disappointed that everything went to waste though :/), but moreso, just happy it’s over. Best of Luck to you!, hopefully we get in.

I got into Villanova/Drexel a few days ago
got the official letter in the mail on the 25th of march i think?

I heard from Drexel in the mail on March 30. Muhlenberg came as an email about a week ago.

same…I’m hoping for either rosemont/drexel or drexel/interview. I had interviews for both. Wbu jjtheairplane?

applied drexel/drexel only. we’ll see april 8th.

What will u do if you are not accepted? Do you know anything about Rosemont College? Is it good for pre-med? I know there are alot of dumb kids there so academically, it’s good if you’re smart. Easy 4.0. I only have to pay 16 grand there and that’s with dorming and everything…sounds like a good option…but if i were to not get into these programs, would rosemont College undergrad be a good option? It’s not that great of a school. Terrible atmosphere, socially. But it’s near philly so i can make my own friends there from Drexel/UPENN/etc. Not a problem.

I got into rosemont/drexel.

anyone got monmouth/drexel or muhlenberg/drexel?

accepted–rosemont/drexel
waitlisted–kean/drexel

accepted kean/drexel

if one is accepted to DUCOM thru one college can we request to allow us to keep the guaranteed admission but through a different college?

I was accepted Drexel/Drexel and Villanova/Drexel… need help deciding between the two

Is Drexel combined program binding? Say someone gets a 35 on MCAT and has 3.8/3.9 GPA in the undergrad program, can one forgo the drexel med and apply to a different school or one has to Drexel?

^ one can apply elsewhere though he or she would immediately lose their seat at drexel med.

@peanutbutter21, i would go for the cheapest option for undergrad does not matter as much and both will end up in the same med school. They are pretty close to each other, though villanova and drexel have different atmospheres.

I actually completely disagree with Dblazer. The undergrad institute does matter. I know for a fact that students in the Villanova program have done better in medical schools than students from the Drexel program because people overall come out better prepared for medical school. That being said, as long as you dont let yourself get lazy in college, you will still be alright no matter what college you go to. Choose the atmosphere that fits you best, because then you’ll be more motivated to participate in school activities and take opportunities as they come.

I am a junior in high school interested in a 7 yr program with DUCOM, preferably Villanova, Rosemont, and the Drexel one. If you guys dont mind, could you post stats just so I can guage whether this is an option for me. If you dont want to post them publicly, you can private message me as well. Thanks!
