I have been accepted to both Delaware and Drexel, but I am still undecided on which school I want to go to. Tuition is not an issue, but both schools seem like great choices. If I could get any feedback from anybody to which school i should lean more towards and why, I would really appreciate it :)

Well, if you like the big city, no doubt Drexel, but if your a small town type, go for Delaware. I would go for Drexel cause I love philly and your class sizes might be better at a private U than a public one.

the best thing you can do is visit both campuses (if you haven't already) and try to get a feel for what you'd be most suited for. I don't know too much about Delaware but I guess its more of a state school environment. The state school environment is definitly suited for more people than others. Some people end up transferring from state schools to Drexel beause they find out Drexel's better for them, and some end up transferring from Drexel to state schools.

Mainly though, the biggest plus of Drexel that seperates it is the co-op opportunities. I'm not sure what you want to do with bio, but many who do bio either is doing it as pre-med or want to get involved with some type of research. Either way, you'll get a great start on your career with the co-op program and you can really work in one of the many hospitals around philadelphia one co-op, or do research another co-op, etc. Think about how great it would look when applying to med school or going for that job. Very few bio majors have real-world experience straight out of college.

Also, drexel's bio program is very good and rigorous. the friends i have in the program have to spend a lot of time dedicated to their classes.

Hello! I know this is many years later but if you do read this then could you please tell me which school you chose and how you made out? My son is going through the same decision right now. Thank you so much in advance.
