<p>I am a HS Student and have been invited to join the Star Scholars Program to work research with a professor the summer before I start Drexel. Anyone have experience with this program? I am thinking of declining for this summer, but might want to do it the summer of Freshman year.</p>

I am a STAR Scholar.
I’m pretty sure if you were accepted during admission to STAR, you do not have the option to pick. You do it in the summer quarter (after your freshman year). You need to meet with a professor or advisor during your freshman year to figure out a plan for research.</p>
<p>I just got accepted into the program. It’s for the summer after your Freshman year. The message you got is just asking you if you’re interested in being considered for the program.</p>
