Hello all!
I have one curiosity about Drexel. Does it prepare you to become a leader with vision or does it just train you to be an obedient worker?
Hello all!
I have one curiosity about Drexel. Does it prepare you to become a leader with vision or does it just train you to be an obedient worker?
That depends on you really. But they have a co-op program which gives students experience rather than simple book knowledge.
Yea the answer to that question is highly dependent on what you do, regardless of the school you go to. Whether its IVY league or community college, leaders and followers are developed at every school. You might be better off asking what sort of opportunities Drexel has that can help you develop into a leader and such. In this case that would be practical work experience, undergraduate research opportunity, student organization participation, honors college and other such things. A school will never say they aim to develop obedient workers except maybe a military branch, and even they are keen on leadership based marketing. A school will also hardly ever say everyone that comes out of the school is a leader. In reality, they have no control over a person being a leader or follower aka what kind of person they come out to be. They can only control the knowledge and education a student has access to and provide ample opportunities for a student to take advantage of to develop into the kind of person they want to become.
