Hello, I am seriously considering Drexel University for Architecture, but the tuition is extremely expensive. My family is looking to spend around $20,000 on tuition. After filling out the net price calculator, I found that we would spend about $32,000 each year…
From my understanding, I can earn money from participating in co-op programs. Is it safe to assume I would earn enough money through these programs to lessen the cost of attendance? Please share insight on Architecture co-ops from Drexel and opportunities to lessen the finances.
Hey! For co-ops, students generally earn between 14k-20k per co-op ( can be more if you land a hot one). you can also apply for work study opportunities which will bring some extra cash
i’ve been accepted to drexel but I would have to pay around 51k which is ridiculous
My colleague’s son is a freshman architecture student at Drexel. Architecture students are different and after so many semesters (I don’t recall how many) they work and attend school year-round (part-time) rather than the normal Drexel co-op cycle. I’m not sure how that would impact earnings but the students I know typically earn in the neighborhood of $15K per year.
