Drexel University Honors vs Ohio State

Is there a significant difference academically between these two universities? I'm going to visit them both soon so I don't really need to know about setting, and their both in cities so I think opportunities will be about the same. I'm just not sure if Ohio State is as much better than Drexel as I hear it is.Both are ABET accredited....

So, are they equal academically, or is OSU superior to Drexel?

Drexel is much more of a co-op program than OSU, although OSU really pushes internships and co-ops. But my understanding is that Drexel requires a co-op.

Drexel is in an okay part of the city, but just okay. OSU is in a nice part of Columbus.

OSU has a campus. Drexel does not.

I would look at money. Is one cheaper than the other? Either school is good.

OSU is cheaper, but Drexels coop might make it even depending on how much I am paid.

You have to eventually decide, but I would go with OSU. JMO

Honestly, the academics won’t be drastically different, I’m sure academically you would be satisfied at either school. However, the experience you have at the two schools will be different. Drexel graduates that I have met admit that it has a very commuter feel and that school spirit is not necessarily that high. Whereas, OSU is very large and starting fall 2014 incoming freshman have to live on campus freshman and sophomore year, also, as anyone who has ever met a buckeye would agree to, they bleed Scarlet and Grey. Also. Athletics are big at OSU and not such a big deal at Drexel. So honestly, it comes down to fit, what feels right to you?
