I have read about the program on their website, but I'm curious to hear from anyone who has personal experience with this school and this program. Any information about the music industry major would be appreciated. What is the admission process like? What do you get out of the program? How is the school in general?

My son attends college in Philadelphia, and has at least one friend in the Music Business program at Drexel. It is very highly regarded. Drexel’s best departments are in engineering and business, and so it’s not as strong on the artistic side, but Philly has a long tradition in the music industry and I think there are lots of networking and intern opportunities. My son’s friend has a radio program and a popular YouTube channel. Philly is a very exciting city for creative young people, because it is so much more affordable than NYC, San Francisco, LA, or even Boston. A struggling artist can survive without a major trust fund. My son has a lot of musician friends, and they get gigs pretty regularly.

OP, ask your question on the Drexel forum.
