Drexel vs. Northeastern

I have been accepted in both Drexel and Northeastern University for MS- business analytics.I have received a merit scholarship for drexel but no t in Northeastern. I am confused which university to go?

What’s your budget?
How much would each cost?

Need to pay $33k tuition in drexel and $51k tuition in Northeastern University for the entire program.

What’s your budget?

From what I understand they’re both about the same; so it might be a matter of Philly vs. Boston and then the expense as well. Both OUTSTANDING.

According to the budget im ok with both the universities. Just wanna know which one is better?

There’s no “better” school per se. northeastern has a very good program and the co op program. Boston is more student friendly imho and manageable. NEU is more selective but that doesn’t mean better. It’s more dependent on your needs and how hard a burden is the extra money for your family.

That i understand but the question is…which university should i attend? if i can pay in both the unis?

If you have no strong leaning towards one, I would choose Drexel. Why spend an extra $72k?

Visit both again and sit in on a class, eat in the dining hall, talk to some students. Figure out where you could envision yourself happiest, most inspired. You have 4 months to decide – lots of time.

My S20 applied to both. We’ve visited both. Both are good so you can’t go wrong either way. Visit both and see what you think. That said I’d probably give edge to Northeastern because of Boston and better reputation but not by a wide margin.

I thought Northeastern had only sent out acceptances for ED. Are you transferring?

No i am applying for MS. masters degree. They have provided application decisions for masters students

Congrats! My son is a Northeastern undergrad. He really likes Boston. Even though Boston and Philly are both big cities, Boston feels a bit more green in the area of Northeastern while Drexel feels more big city, at least from my perspective.
