Don't know much about Drexel but you can't go wrong going to Northeastern. As a ChemE I can assure you that you will have your plate full at Northeastern with work. This time slot right now is one of my only breaks during the whole week from classes, AIChE meetings, or work. Proctor and Gamble is coming in today to talk to the AIChE group about co-op opportunities. As far as the professors go, we just lost one of the best chemE professors at the school because he realized teaching was not what he wanted and is now working in industry. However the remaining ones are very well respected and are great professors.

Northeastern since it has a better campus, boston is a great college town, the program is decent and the most important point, its great for coop!

I had a Mechanical Engineer friend transfer from Drexel to Northeastern in the third year and he likes it at NU so much better!

Have you visited each campus? Northeastern is a city school, but once inside there is a pleasant amount of greenery, landscaping, statues and cool architecture. I've never visited Drexel, but I see it pop up on lists of schools with unnattractive campuses. Reputation-wise, I think Northeastern edges it out there, too. And where would you want to co-op and ultimately work after college: If New England is your wish, I would think Northeastern would open more doors. Boston is a great city, but so is Philly. Princeton Review and US News rank Northeastern #1 in Job Placement and Career Services. And Princeton Review gives Drexel a 65 for overall 'quality of life' rating, and Northastern an 87. But base your decision on your own feeling about the school and the campus and what's important to you. Good luck.

dont go to any of those 2 because they are dumb go to a school like an ivy league school

Don't hold a grudge hoctarjayrad because you got a 500 on CR.

^ Lol he is jealous.

ffunny thing is that its NEU is doctor's first choice, lmao

Is this a serious question? Northeastern in a heatbeat. Everything about it is better.

two things:

Drexel is so underrated. It has some of the best CO-OP and engineering/sciences around.

If you go to Drexel it’ll probably be cheaper and you’ll probably get a scholarship. That is if you want to give up the prestige of Northeastern.
