I'm a transfer student in NJ, so I applied to the local schools. I'm very leaning toward Drexel, because I heard it was a good engineering school, and I got a good feeling from it. But Rutgers ranks a little higher.. It'd be cheaper for me to go to drexel after scholarships.
Rowan would be the cheapest option for me, as it's just down the road, but I was told it's too new of an engineering school to compare with the others.
I'm going for electrical engineering.
If anyone has any input about these schools, please let me know! Thanks!

Of course, it depends on what you are looking for in a college experience when it comes to making a final decision. We have visited and investigated all three of these schools and they are extremely different. If you have to be in an urban environment and like the idea of a co-op program that runs on a quarter calendar, then Drexel may be for you. Rutgers is a HUGE school that is ranked highly, but the big school environment has to be what you’re looking for if you are to succeed there. We know of many who started there only to be distracted by the party scene and sheer size of the campus before dropping out. Rowan is a medium size school whose engineering program is becoming more and more respected, with chemical engineering ranking #2 in the country. Compare all, but consider who YOU are first and what may be the best match. Out of the three, Rowan may be the best value for engineering and the labs are beyond compare. My advice is to visit the engineering departments of all three schools before making your final decision. Good luck!!
