<p>I'm not really into the whole drinking scene, like at all. I was wondering if its really active at slu? do the majority of students there participate and is it there at all parties? Do students feel pressured to drink? Can I still have an active social life without drinking?</p>
According to my daughter who is a freshman at SLU, there are definitely those that party a lot, but there are also those who aren’t into drinking and they can have a full social life outside of attending parties. She also says that you can attend the parties and not drink–her friends who don’t drink have not felt pressured at all. There’s tons to do at SLU that doesn’t revolve around alcohol.
I feel the same as you, and I’ve heard from other people that aren’t going to drink at SLU. We’ll find stuff to do together
