ello guys,

I have a question about water source. Where do we get water in dorms? Do we have to go to the food courts for drinking water? Thank you

There is a water fountain in most every hallway right by the bathroom.

The BEST thing to do as a freshman is to get a Brita or any other type of water filter. That way you can just walk to the bathroom and fill it up very quickly at the bathroom sink. In a few mins, you have clean water that you can keep handy until you drink all of it. The water fountains are ok for a quick drink, but it’s a huge hassle to fill anything up with them cause the water runs so slow.

True about the water running a bit slow. But geez, I see no need for a filter. The water in my building tastes fine, at least.

You never know how clean tap water is :P. Also I don’t know if it’s just me, but I think it’s kind of strange if you are just getting water from the bathroom sinks. I like the fact that there is some type of filtration/cleaning process going on. I believe everyone on our floor last year had either a Brita/Pur though.

It’s called “God’s tears” for a reason.
