But it tastes kinda gross...=/

The Brian-- Kirkland water tastes like burnt rubber!

i buy water bottles and refill them in the dining hall.

I have water gallons because they're more efficient than bottles. The tap water here is awful.

For some reason, the dining hall included filling up bottles of water at the water dispenser as part of the rule that you weren't allowed to take food out of the dining hall, and I know someone who got told off a few times for doing it. Really stupid.

I freaking love bottled water. Dasani is my favorite for some reason. I like Aquafina, too.

Deer Park is yuck.

But for going off to college I'll probably just get a filter to save cash...

cases of water...but i should have brought a brita filter though, that would help when i'm just in my room and don't need to waste bottles

where did you get in?

dasani, aquafina, and kirkland are no better than tap water - in taste and health benefits.

inexpensive good water is arrowhead.

Tap water is cleaner than bottled water - it's proven

In college, I used to take the same three water bottles and refill them at the fountain. I'd freeze them for about an hour to chill them. The bottles were nice for the gym or for between classes.

Now that I'm home I just use glasses. The fountain at my gym now is always cold so I just use it.

Tap water cleanliness is good, although some authorities are better than others. Some don't add the Flourine. And if you think tap water is that dirty, remember you wash your face, hands, and water with it. WASHING WITH BOTTLED WATER DOES NOT MAKE YOU SMELL BETTER, GET FEWER ZITS, OR MAKE YOU 100% SAFE AGAINST THE COMMON COLD. Manage your scent, zits, and colds with deoderant, benzoyl peroxide, and soap, not your water.

Bottled water is a bit of a rip off--you get the same stuff for about a penny at your sink. The taste is no different either. Water is especially expensive at the movie theater. Bring your own water--put a bottle in your pant pocket. Sure, you'll have a cold leg when you enter the theater, but think of the three bucks or so you'll save. And if you're really something, put a bag of Lance popcorn (usually 75 cents) in your other pocket. Small popcorn at theaters is way more than that.

You can't count on tap water being flouridated - the tap water where I live does not have flouride added, nor does the water where I go to school. Bottled water certainly isn't WORSE than tap water...there's just often little (if any) difference.

chriscap: you don't know what burnt rubber tastes like then.

kirkland tastes like normal water- it's tasteless.

as for tap; tap tastes terrible in some areas.

bottled water is much more reliable.

Tap water in Chicago and Peoria tastes like dirty salt.
