Drinking?

How many people here drink? Seems like just about everyone does... and I'm just curious.

me

and i despise those people who say "drinking's for losers. I can have so much more fun without drinking. i'm so much better than everyone because i don't drink."
I respect people that choose not to drink, very highly.. but it's those ones that think that they are better than you that **** me off.

Personally, I can't stand the smell much less the taste of alcohol. Not wine, not beer, not anything I've been exposed to. Yuck. I never plan to drink.

Then again, I always vowed I wouldn't become a coffee drinker, and I'm starting to like coffee, at least espressos and capuccinos...

Caffeine all the way for me.

I don't drink, personally. But, I hang out with a lot of people that do.

I don't drink. And I don't think you'll find a lot of people on CC that will. But yea, I don't drink.

i drink green tea =]

good wines are yummy. so are liqueur chocolates.

i drink occasionally. but i like red bull and sobe no fear more.

I haven't had the opportunity to drink. It seems like the parties that I'm, coincidentally, unable to go to are the ones where everything happens. Eh. I feel like a dork. I haven't even had the opportunity to say no to drugs so I can confirm my superiority over people who can't stick up for themselves!

I do plan on drinking before graduation, though. Hey, I still have like two years.

I don't drink, but I'm friends with people who do, and it's never bothered me. :p

Ew, drinking is gross. Soda owns.

yeah cuz ur like 12 years old. wait until u get older then u'll see

Me. Though I only really started this school year. (Well, the summer before this school year.)

I had a little vodka and coke tonight to ease me through my school's concert (yeah, I'm stupid enough to drink on campus, but the theater was dark and me and my friends were in the back). It was pretty good regardless, but there were a few very bad bands (more specifically, bad singers), but there were a couple awesome bands.

Drinking is fun as long as you don't do anything stupid (like drive) and that it doesn't get more important than just being with your friends.

Sufer, I am not! See what drinking does to you? You can't even get my age right.

I drink on rare occurrences, like visiting my sister @ college and when my family was in the carribean...
honestly, I always thought it would be some amazing thing, and it was fun but not really that great. i think the whole appeal is in that it's not technically legal... I can tell you I felt a lot less cool drinking in the carribean with my parents there and it being legal than when I was drinking w/out my parents knowledge when it was illegal... lol

but yeah, it bothers me when people act superior because they don't drink... it also bothers me when people act superior because they do drink... everyone should respect others' decisions!

I don't drink... when my dad has beer or wine, occasionally he lets me have sips, but it's not that really appealing to me cause I don't like it that much... except for the fruity-flavored ones. I know for a fact that almost the majority of people at my school drink. It doesn't really matter to me... like said before, as long as you don't do anything stupid you should be fine. But I mean, if I am offered, and if it's the kind that I like, I will drink probably, but not excessively. I guess I can go either way.

yeah i drink, but only on weekends, or when i have a creative writing assignment, hehe. it's just great for me to let the stress out.
although it is true what people say that drinking doesn't make your problems go away, it does take some of the stress out before you have to get back into the real world, since you're going to have to fix your problems whether you're miserable the whole time or having fun for half the time.

I don't drink, but, like everyone else, I know a bunch of people who do. It's not a big deal really. My friends know I don't, so we make plans around it - like, if they want to go drinking at a party after a dance or something, I get dropped off first or we break off into groups or whatever. They know I don't like that they drink, but they also know I don't mind them calling me and asking for a ride home from where ever if they have been drinking. Our agreement is if they puke in my car, I'm leaving it at their house to clean, and I'm taking their keys and driving their car back to my house and holding it ransome until they clean my car. :)

I just don't want to drink though, mainly because I've lived around alcoholics all my life. Some people get encouraged to drink from that, and I'm just weird and it pushed me away from it.

i agree alcohol tastes terrible (cept some wines) but i drink to get drunk so whatever.... a lot of my friends are going 'edge b/c theyve either screwed up or seen someone else screw up b/c of alcohol. I really dont take heed to those things though...
