Drinking

So where do you guys do it and do your parents know you do it/care if you do it?

my parents don’t care if i drink. however, i don’t drink often. probably because my parents are so lenient with alcohol, it’s not a big deal to me.

i’m always surprised when other kids think drinking is such a huge deal and put importance on, not just drinking, but getting wasted until they black out.

I certainly don’t put importance on it, but this is my first year drinking and I’ve only done it like once so was just wondering where people usually do it coz my parents are really strict about not doing it

I’ve never drank. However, my parents probably wouldn’t care if I did drink a little as long as they were with me.

Wherever I want to.

My parents don’t care.

My mom let me drink at young age so I suppose the whole “you’re not supposed to do it” allure of alcohol never really existed with me.
I think that’s actually why my mother allows me to drink; to avoid that very problem.

I’ve been allowed to drink since I was 11. I have never been drunk, never blacked out, never did anything stupid. Smart move on her part.

You go to whats called a house party. There will be beer. Grab a beer and start drinking, the night will get less awkward the more you drink.

no not at parties, just casual hangouts like at other peoples houses maybe? or what

I prefer to have full control over my decisions.

They let me drink as long as they’re there. So I drink over the holidays or at house parties. But I don’t drink too much because i’m asian so i have low alcohol tolerance, and i get a massive headache after being buzzed. So i try not to get drunk. :)

Corrected for accuracy.

I haven’t yet, but I probably will soon. Though, not much because I don’t wanna make stupid choices (and I’m too paranoid about lots of things).

Me too. I haven’t drank more than a small cup with family. Also, none of my friends drink at all and my best friend is super opposed to it. So I don’t think it will happen in high school.

I have had Kahlua…though that hardly counts. It was mixed with milk.

I drink wine on the holidays.

My parents are the ones who offered it to me. I do not think they would ever be fond of me excessively drinking though.

Beer does not intrigue me.

I had that too! The appearance of it made it look even more gross. I also tried Sambuca, lol that was the worst one.

Beer is bleh. I prefer wine. But vodka and sake are alright too.

Moscato and reisling, ftw.

I’ve only drunk with my parents around… I guess that may change when I become older.

I’m verging on the border of alcoholism and I’m simply a rising sophomore! Alcoholism has its perks, though. People find out and you get attention. And everyone loves attention, right? ;)

drinking is stupid. it makes people sloppy and out of control of their decisions. I pity people with parents that allow them to drink.

I thought it tasted good. My mom put a lot of milk in it though.

I will never drink a lot though…that is just icky.

I have only ever had 1 or 2 sips of an alcoholic drink.

My cousin put kinda a lot of Kahlua. So it looked like chocolate milk, except my head kept thinking “it’s not chocolate, it’s alcohol!” The mentality of it probably made it taste worse for me lol.

Ever have a screwdriver? :)
