Driver permit's test help...

Where can I find a website with most of the information I need to take the California driver's permit test? I want a condensed version because I don't want to read through 50 pages of the book they have on the DMV website.

Thanks

bumpbumpbump

The New York test is pretty much common sense. The only thing you didn't know by common sense was the alcohol stuff, but we learned that in health.

^same for indiana...
I pretty much scanned the drivers manual a couple times and was fine.

Same for California... It honestly is just common sense. I remember getting mixed up on a question about fog lights, though. And I guess you should look up the speed limits for different situations and the alcohol content stuff.

really my test was ridiculously easy... I think I missed a question about yield signs because of overthinking (I still think the question was worded badly), and maybe on of the signs.

lol ...as long as you know that green light means go red light means stop and that pedestrians are the #uno priority i will see to it that you pass

the ca test was basic knowledge you should be able to easily answer if you dont get mixed up. there are questions that you will read too much into and be like but what if... blah blah blah. in general, the correct answer is the first one that you think of. there are some numbers on it; i remember on my test there was one about when you could pull a u-turn and i got mixed up becuase of the 100-feet thing ( it's a no go if there is a car or curve in the road within the next 100 feet). i think they've stopped releasing the tests once you take them, but im sure people's siblings or older friends have them around. ask. i know before my test, my friends had compiled at least 3 of the 5 tests. i didn't end up using them, but i know people who did. the ca dmv also has practice questions available online and they're pretty helpful. they're in the same question style as the questions on the test. overall, the test will try to mix you up a bit, but just stick to the basics, pick the safe and conservative answer, and you should be good. good luck!

So one doesn't really need to study for it?

"my friends had compiled at least 3 of the 5 tests"

Wait, some dmv's make you take written tests? I live in PA, and mine was on a touch screen computer. It was kinda funny; the guy next to me was blatantly looking off of my screen (also kinda weird that a 50-year-old guy was taking a permit test).

The FL Road signs test was common sense, but our Rules of the road and our 4-hour alcohol course/test was hard. Like not rly hard, but annoying and you actually had to pay attention to the class. We don't hve health (at least my school doesn't) so we had to take a 4 hour course on drugs and alcohol.
