Drop a class to avoid "D" after got admitted by Davis

@ rolex12 undergraduate admissions (530) 752-2971

nice trippind when you did you make the update?

They always say that “we have carefully reviewed” BS.

Thanks @trippind23

Hi i did the same thing, I had to drop chem 101 because i was failing it and so i updated my grade from IP to W and i heard back the next day saying that i am still admitted. I also had to update my math class from Winter and they were more interested in that grade and so i updated and they said, “We have carefully reviewed your recently submitted academic records and/or correspondence regarding your grade in Statistics and your changes for Spring 2012. Congratulations on your admission to UC Davis; we look forward to seeing you in September.”
I also had to update a course that was IP but had actually dropped it from the TAU and it was still there and everything went well too! yay!

I am in the same position as you guys, but if I get a W on the class I would like to withdraw from, I’ll be under the 60 unit requirement  I’m going to call them and see, but was anyone on the same boat and still was able to withdraw from their class?

@waterbottle55 do not drop. There is like 95% chance you will be rescinded with less than 60 units.

I am wondering about withdrawing from a class as well, regarding admissions to UCLA and UC Berkeley. I have more than enough units and it’s not a major prereq – I’m considering dropping a 5 unit language class because it has become clear I cannot get an A. I’m not sure if I’m in the low B or C range now. It is doubtful I would get less than a C, but I still feel like it would be better to drop than to lower my GPA drastically. Has anyone experienced this?
