Drop Dead Dates for Corrections

We filed FAFSA & Profile within the required deadlines using estimates. Some of that info is a few thousand off. Based on actual W-2's, we did not make as much as I thought so any corrections would be in OUR favor with respect to the EFC.

I planned to do corrections based on our taxes but my husband is dragging his feet about getting them done. If he gets taxes done and I submit corrections by March 1? I want to be sure that financial aid computations are based on the more accurate wages since it will reduce our EFC. Or, should I correct the W-2 info and at a later date, make ANOTHER set of corrections based on complete tax info? Thanks!

Oops! Sorry my previous post had some fractured English. The question was whether I can wait until March 1 to send in corrections to FAFSA and Profile. Or, whether I should send one set of corrections now (based on actual W-2's) and then make additional changes, if needed, whenever my husband finishes our taxes.

b-u-m-p please

I would make the corrections now and then redo them again so you will know more exactly what your aid will be. Also you can call and talk with fin aid and tell them your situation. Good luck.
