Drop in grades

<p>So I just received my 2nd semester grades, and I have an unweighted GPA of 2.88 (no D's or F's). I realize that as part of the provisional contract I needed to maintain an unweighted GPA of AT LEAST 3.0. I've already contacted the school via internet, but will the school really withdraw my admission?</p>

<p>I explained the circumstances surrounding the drop. It was mainly issues with my family. My cousin and best friend has been undergoing chemotherapy, and my father has been emotionally and physically unstable because of work. My parents were unsure of their standing at work so I picked up more hours at both of my jobs, and at that time my family was much more important than my grades. </p>

<p>Has anyone seriously lost their admission status because they failed to meet this requirement?</p>

<p>you actually have a legitimate excuse and i would be very surprised if your acceptance gets rescinded</p>

i feel u dude…i too was sorta close to being rescinded…almost got a D in Calc 3</p>
