Drop in SAT Writing Score

My three approximate SAT Scores are as follows:

1st: R:680 M:800 W:620
2nd: R:640 M:720 W:800
3rd: R:710 M:750 W:650

Although I received an 800 in Writing my final SAT score in writing dropped 150 points. Do you guys think colleges will see that negatively? And how does superscoring work? Do I have to send in all scores and let the colleges choose the scores or can I specifically choose each subsection score to hand in?

If the schools you are applying to Superscore, then they will consider the highest score for each subsection. I wouldn’t worry to much about the drop – you showed that you are capable of getting a perfect score and this will be noticed.

Colleges have different policies on whether you have to send your scores or not. I can find the list if someone will tell me what the policy is on posting links:).
