Drop lunch for GPA?

Should I drop my lunch period to boost my GPA through electives?

Eating is not a problem; I can get lunch before class or just bring something small to eat.
My current GPA is about 3.75 right now.

How important is it to colleges?

Bump. Anyone? >_<.

Thanks, any other opinions?

Which electives are you considering adding?

To me, it seems like a bad idea, especially if you are adding a throwawy class in lieu of lunch.

Business electives.

I plan on majoring business in college.

go for the elective

Really? How odd. Looking at your user name, I would've never guess it. Drop lunch and do the elective. Like you said, you can always eat snacks or something you can eat rather quickly in between classes.

This is really sad, though admitedly I skip lunch many days. In some European countries, people will go home for well over an hour for their family meals and here we can't even find a half an hour to sit down and enjoy ourselves.

I dropped my lunch to take AP Stats

and I heavily regret it. not that I dont like AP Stats, it's an interesting class, but going 7+hours(clubs) without food is insane. especially since I eat a quick breakfast.

Wow, what kind of a school punishes kids who eat lunch? At my school, you have a built in 30 minutes for lunch, no matter what. I don't think colleges would look down on someone eating lunch -- and if they would, then what is this world coming to?!

Lollololololl because you're acting like you can't eat because of your non-lunch-including-schedule.. Uhm, snacks, during class, after school before clubs, etc. Uhh. Even with my lunch period I don't eat for 6.5 hours [simply because I eat breakfast at ~6, lunch isn't till 12:20ish..] but that's really not that big a deal... and by breakfast I mean a nice mug of hot tea and maybe a piece of toast or something.

For god's sake man, eat lunch. Don't let your GPA and test scores run your life. A 3.75 is fine, eat and socialize.

i dont recommend it. I don't eat lunch either. The value lunch holds is that it's a break from classes. It's the break where i do nothing but chill. Value it. It's like heaven, especially when ure in IB.

Dood,a 3.75 sucks.. Drop lunch AND dual enroll in your community college ASAP
