Dropped a course - Updating

Hello :~)

I dropped a course on February 22nd and I finally got an appointment today to speak to a counselor to verify that I have to update it. I just wanted to make sure that

a): I DO have to update it

b) I have to contact them here (ucinfo@applyUCsupport.net)

They do have to know right?? My counselor seemed very confused and I did check here and there and it seems that there is a consensus that it’s better to update it than not (hypothetically, what’re the repercussions if I didn’t?)

Lastly, this won’t affect me negatively right? It wasn’t a pre-req class and I have enough units already (I passed 4/5 of my AP exams and they’re all transferable) .

If your “counselor seemed very confused” then try to switch counselors. This is pretty basic stuff. UC has counselor training that goes over the whole process. Run from someone that finds this “confusing”

Yeah, thank you very much for the link! I did some research on my own and then I went to see if she had any “insider” information and just to verify I guess and she ended up knowing less than I did ?? :confused:
