quick question…
I dropped a math class (pre-calc) in the beginning of senior yr… the class will show up on my mid-year report without a grade. Will colleges want to find out what the grade was?. … its not good AT ALL… lol
thanks

no they won't, but you should have told them you were dropping it

yeah, on my apps I put "pre-calc first marking period only" under the place where you list senior classes. .. I then put what I would be taking instead of pre-calc.

thanks

if you cant pass/get a good grade in precalc in hs i dont think you should be going to a college, start with a jc then move on

I know someone who wasnt even able to pass a math course one step lower than pre-calc and they are doing fine in college. I'm not majoring in math or anything- I still was able to get a 620 on the math sats.

justperfect-what if he's majoring in english or something? that's pretty ignorant of you to say

justperfect-Have a nice life being perfect, I'm sure you'll have lots of friends.

it depends on what colleges you are applying to.

see, if you were an ivy applicant you should definetely get a good grade in precalc (a or b) but if not i don't see any problems

it seems like you already notified them enough anyways

thank you to everyone who responded. . yeah I'm majoring in journalism so I guess it doesn't matter all that much.. you guys have been a big help.

shut up justperfect
i got 2 Cs in math in high school - one of which was in trig/precalc h - and i pulled a 780 on the math sat, an 800 on the iic, and an A in calc

lol another person who understands ... thank you.
