Dropped courses on UC Application?

I dropped AP Computer Science in second semester of 10th grade. So when I’m entering my grades into the UC Application, would i put “NO GRADE” for second semester?

Do I also have to write that I dropped the course in the additional comments box? Would I have to write an explanation of why i dropped the class or can it just be a straightforward sentence?
